Thank you for writing to us. I got this 1000w one so on that I can for sure say this is excellent coz am actually using it. Checked with the S40R the main difference is 400w to begin with. The wireless term sounds cool even for me its tempting but when thought about, it got its own drawbacks, first would be the radiations in the room one would sit for long as it will need a strong seamless connection to give you the sound from back. Then the wires and the box, that box will need an extra power connection, wires outgoing to the rear speakers and the subwoofer will need a power connection wires to the soundbar. Here its just two wires going to the rear which i tried to hide and wall mounted the rear speaker a bit higher towards the roof, the helicopter sounds as if its above me....:). More over I find a huge difference in the subwoofer box, 1000w one looks dynamic and beautiful, this one is not that strong and dynamic in its looks apart from the watts missing. Purely my view bro. coz like i said I got 1000w one and feel on top as I feel i got nothing missing in it.

You are right bro I purchased HT S500 RF from local sony center ,after a sony center representative recommended to me , immediately after installing I felt it is mind-blowing ,best under 40000 category ,after connecting to my gaming console I played ghost of tsushima oh my god it's like wandering in tsushima island air blow past behind my ear ,one enemy thowed a bomb to right side of screen and suddenly explosion happened in right surround speaker ,what a heavenly experience....... Thanks for your suggestion

Yes absolutely ,it has got 2 twitters in soundbar ,power is 1000 w so sound is wayyyy better and support both Dolby digital and dts

s500rf or s700rf both have same Sub....s40r is 600rms so obviously less bass capability too. Other than that rear spk are Bluetooth.....but that is a bit issue than convenience, coz one you will be sitting right in between radiations all the time, Bluetooth radiations are not good constantly and then the issue is both speakers will need a power outlet hence you end up connecting 3 things to power outlet, more current used for each.

@@AbcyVerse s500rf and s700rf have different sub size, 18 cm in s500rf and 20 cm in s700rf, also s700rf weight sub heavier though they have same output power, btw thanks for your review

I am using S500rf. There is actually no difference because everything is same except the rear speakers are tower ones in s700rf.

Yes it does that perfectly along with ability to adjust as per need. Dolby digital Plus format and DTS HD Master audio format as well......No Atmos.....But you wont need Atmos if using in normal room, just install the rear speakers a few inches (maybe a 1 or 1.5 feet) below ceiling.

Hi, Personally I prefer Sony, brother. Sony has been in Picture and Sound department so this is their arena. Logitech has been good in other digital products. Personally i have not listened to Logitech, but watched online. Logitech lacks HDMI so any claim of THX needs a high end output connector, satellite speakers are old school, lot of wires, lot of speakers to manage. Logitech is just extended bass with no tweeters.....for sure will lack feel and punch, only good for songs. For sure SONY in your room will give you a standard feel. Soundbar with tweeters, the mesh on speakers, the software managing voice distribution, ease of handling is supreme. Sony is clear and sharpens when you raise volume, it is its regular software design. Sharp punchy bass, based on selection it handles equalizer points. Logitech has heating problem. Logitech makes best keyboard and mouse..... :)

We can only change settings for the rear speakers, as in distance and volume as per your sitting and distance between rear speakers. Use Multi channel along with modes available in it. I usually select default setting because that ends up giving the best output maybe because they set it as default based on Sony's criteria. But we can increase rear and Sub volume.........No front speaker volume increase or decrease ability.

JBL has a great sub and its bass is quite strong.......I found this one balanced and something where you dont need to do much as its all adjusted within.....plug in and the feel is simply strong, realistic, clean and clear

I think it is pretty long for rear speakers, longer than usual I felt, maybe 10meter though I didnt actually tape it, but in my 12 x 12 bedroom I have much wire to hide even after installing them at the back wall. Even if you have a normal hall space.....I am sure it will be more than enough.

This has beat and other vocals clarity and a standard interface which any and every music output is measured upon. JBL is more into deep bass which often misses in clarity and the punch we might expect.

It is very nice......war movies, helicopter, plane, horror or water effects are just amazing. Many times visiting relatives turned their head as if the voice came from right their behinds....lol If you put the speakers a bit towards the ceiling or a bit above than the regular sitting position you get a near Atmos feeling too....I placed my rear speakers 2 feet belong the ceiling, Helicopter flies as if its all over my head covering the entire ceiling.

I installed Pioneer 6 speakers component plus oval 4in ones along with Pioneer Amp and JBL 1200w bass tube.....Bhai clarity, beats aur bass unmatched feel deraha hai. For home use Sony i prefer but car ke liye Sony is not that good for sure.
