I’m guessing this is a frame rate mismatch. Most likely the person doing the review has a different editing time base than what has been recorded. I agree that it looks terrible, but I cannot imagine Sony releasing something doing that in camera. I’m guessing it’s a 24p recording dropped into a 30p timeline, or vice versa.

When you are videoing with the HX99, if you zoom, will you hear the camera motor while you're zooming when you play it back? Also, how long can you record with it without it shutting down on its own? Can you record an entire 20 minute set without it shutting down? Thanks! BB
