For some bizarre reason, when the backup battery starts to expire it will speed up the time on the clock. Does your clock have a 12/24 clock setting? Some have it, some don’t. My Sony is the white model and I’m trying to figure out why there is a recording icon on the clock face. If anyone can tell me what this is, I thank you in advance. Good vid.

I got the same alarm clock from Walmart a few years ago when my older one messed up,this SUX,it is harder to set and when I set it,the stupid thing loses time after a week or 2,I was looking for the clock I had or close to it,the clock I had was a whole lot easier to set and it kept time.

Some of these clocks have an adjustment for the speed of the clock. I’ve seen a couple of these. Personally, I’m not all that impressed with either clock or radio. I’d expect a bit more from Sony. I agree , I do like the size and shape. 📻🙂

I mean personally using ur cell phone as a alarm clock is the most convenient option but if you wanted a alarm clock still I would say the older one keeps track of time more accurate than the new clocks

One can play around the time set buttons n figure out putting in the dates but the last part of setting the time doesn’t follow the same weird format n it’s “one value” n it’s aggravating when resetting after months or years bc it requires rewatching a KZbin vid.

Alarm clocks like these don't keep the time as accurately as your wrist smartwatch because they dont rely on connecting to the internet or to your phone (which then connects to the internet or service provider etc) to be super accurate, they rely on a quartz crystal module inside that is either fast or slow a few minutes per month

I remember they used to make them much louder than that and not no feeble canary call either, seems they want people to be late nowadays so they can dock your wages, I need the police coming thru my door and probably still wouldn't wake up till they were in my bedroom waving a warrant in my face
