Pro tip: put the earpad on using two phone opening tools, kinda like you'd put a tire on a bike. If you do it with your fingers, even short nails will damage the vinyl and you'll see extensive cracking after just a few times on and off.

The video is literally called opening. Nice for people wondering how to get inside / what's inside. He showed everything he was supposed to. If you want to repair them, study up a bit on soldering, buy a 3,5mm jack, enough wire and get soldering. Red and green are L and R channel, copper wire is ground.
