Thanks for the review. I think it can be similar in terms of price, but in terms of functionality, Activo is a much higher specification. Wi-Fi, standalone USB DAC, network streaming includes Tidal, H/W decoding for MQA, etc.. Aside from the sound quality that I personally have different tastes, the two products don't seem to be of the same class.

The CT10 is not worth having. Every time you go to use it, you have to MAKE it work. It has a good GUI, that’s all. Bluetooth acts odd on it, it’s sluggish, the battery drains quickly when on standby, the micro usb jack is at an angle and hard to use, the tech support is nonexistent outside of email(which they have improperly setup to make messages undeliverable), the Qobuz app offline section doesn’t work, it’s impossible to defeat the screen timeout function and I could go on, but I won’t. Skip the CT10 if you want to focus on music and not worry about why it isn’t working right every time you go to use it.

I have both of them. Sony's UI is one of the worst thing I've ever seen. especially you cannot search song title by typing words at all. you just have to roll up and down the f**king list endlessly. It sucks very badly! also with their own connect cable! there are also many other non-sense in Sony's NW A55. but A&K's interface is much more comfy than Sony's thing! In sound quality, I think there are no big differences between two. FYI.

Sony. Buy from bestbuy so if you don’t like it, you can get you money back. You’re only getting that Fiio from Amazon sellers, which is hit or miss,...I have the Sony and they match beautifully with the Sony mdr1a’s.

Does the sony have ability to bring up the album a song is featured on from the all songs screen? For example an ipod touch when your listening to a song, if you hold the front button you can search album or more by the artist that the song is featured from. Can the Sony do this ?

i have the sony. it doesnt do that unfortunately, i wish it did. still im pretty satisfied sony because of the audio quality, gapless playback and drag'n'drop. what i dont like about the sony: takes a long time to switch on (1 minute, as it updates my 256gb library) and bluetooth only up to version 4

Ha ha. First in the siny there is a short cut for the Bluetooth. Is right in the right-sided of the 3 icons you showed. Next to dac icon. 2nd. You talk about natural sound when your eq in the aony is the most v shape in history. Never seen a graph eq like that . Treble and bass at 90%. Never seen. Lol
