I have the Japanese version nw-ws625 with the remote control. For me, the remote control makes the difference. I am the kind of guy who changes songs and volume all the time when I am running or biking and the remote control made so easy to change tracks and volume.

Thanks for sharing bigwolf, yeah the remote control and extra storage is a little note expensive and not for everyone, but like you say makes a big difference to fishing tracks easily without reaching for the ears. Random question and I’m sure this is a bit of a push but do you think you could wear a fullface downhill bike helmet or alternatively a full face dirtbike helmet and if the fit wasn’t too tight maybe you could wear these comfortably???

hey buddy, don't take my opinion as absolute, but depending on how much allowance you have in a helmet (which I imagine isn't much), I think you could possibly get away with it as the neckband won't be an issue and the earpieces you could possibly wear as it doesn't stick out much, although long-time comfort could be an issue. As long as you keep yourself safe in your surroundings, it's possible but I worry about overall comfort doing so. Just my thoughts :)

This, I can confirm is good for swimming in pool or salt water. Just remember to rinse it with tap water immediately afterwards like in less than a minute

Heu keikezia 👋 Up see if i can dig it out but would have no problems connecting via bluetooth like any other device. The strength of this is its ability to store music without needing a phone, the exercise head wrap cable when working out for stability and waterproof using it underwater. The sound is decent for the earphones they are but much better sounding earphones out there. Mic is ok but really prone to outside noise so would suggest others with stronger mic quality or ones that have a boom mic next to your mouth for calls. hope that helps ✌

For these type of earphones calls aren't their strong point as the mics pick up a lot of the background noise so noisy places is very difficult for the other to hear you. Hey Naka! Sorry man for the late message, thought I replied back! To answer your question, the main difference over the 623 and 413 is the bluetooth, NFC and mic facility. And these are very handy to have. It means you can use this for all everyday purposes: exercising, music on your walkman, pairing to any bluetooth device and for taking calls. That was exactly why I chose the 623 and recommend if you want a pair of earphones for all, without needing to bring another earphone to do what the 413 can't. If you want to just listen to music on the earphones and leave your phone at home while exercising or so you don't need to connect, get the 413. If you want to switch between music on the 623, music on your phone and taking calls in between, the 623 is best to get. Hope that helps you all, thanks for the question and keep em coming. These are the best you'll find on the market as there are not many brands in this space. For exercise? Hey yes they are very good to use in a water surrounding. The sound quality degrades as it blocks off to keep it waterproof but if you just want to listen to music while swimming it's a great one to use. The headband is more stable and fit.

Hey AK 👋 for long workout sessions they're absolutely fine and even as something to wear throughout the day. I haven't had any ear-ache and not all in-ear types are uncomfortable by design. Hey Anant 👋 the sound on the XB50BS is far better than the walkman which will feel less immersive and lacking depth in sound generally. If you prefer sound quality the XB50BS is the way to go really fun bassy pair but the walkmans are for that versatiloty awitching between bluetooth and onboard music withoit the need to connect to a device. No control for assistant. And i think of you hold the previous/ next track button you may be able to seek within the track but its very hard to gauge and not great. Either I'm making it up or it was not there in the first place 😅

I was actually looking for tutorial on how to use the buttons they're so freaking confusing because you can't read them with the eye so you just have to memorize what the buttons are for and I haven't used this in a while then I forgot now I have to find the manual again. It's not as easy to use as others.

i got mine as a gift 2 years ako. rarely use it. i noticed lately that on a full charge, battery last only 2 to 3 hours max and even less at times. for example, i charged it last night and i used it this morning, lasted less than a hour. i also noticed that this sony walkman has a low volume.

Ah that's interesting. The dischargeor battery may have been affected if its been a while. The volume I've had no problems with but agree battery life isn't great pretty short but depends if its walkman or bluetooth. Bluetooth i get roughly your time walkman 5 to 6 hours. Hey Frelyn 👋 it comes with an included microusb cable that plugs to the dock connector. You can findUSB adaptors on amazon, your supermarket or electronic store for a USB adaptor plug that lets you connect the cable to it. @@asokthiagu131 that's a lot! Sadly MP3 mode isn't the easiest for searching through a large library otherwise you're best using it in Bluetooth mode. Another is using it to randomly play and shuffle your entire song library and accept not having control on searching for an exact song. If this is what you want then this wouldn't be a good option for you. Add your favourites for the built in MP3 mode and switch to Bluetooth if you want to choose specific songs

Hey there 👋 you cannot as it needs to be set in walkman or BT mode to playback music. It will only flow calls straight to the headset while paired in BT modeand connected. If not, you'll need to switch to bluetooth mode and connect to your phone and then switch output to the BT headset.

You can swim with these, they are pool ready although double check on Sony's guideline of waterproof may only be for certain types of water (fresh vs salt for example). But you can to a reasonable depth. Sound is more 'blocked' as it seals itself so quality is reduced but you can still vibe to music 👌

Hey Srisruthiparimi, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your question! 👌 i haven't had hands on with the aftershockz xtrainers but from my experience and look of it, the 413 is a good value option for non bluetooth mp3 earphones that has similar sound quality as the 623. The ear units look bigger but if you don't mind that the sony ones generally have been good for me. As for hybrid wearable mp3s, Sony is pretty much leading that space with no real quality alternatives I've seen so far. But the 623 as in the review is very good quality and worth the investment of you want something to connect or disconnect from your phone. 👌 Hope that helps bud. Hey Hariz 👋 good question and thanks for messaging. You have to switch mode from bluetooth to headset mode so you can only listen to songs in those modes. It also means you can only answer calls immediately from the headset when you're in bluetooth mode. BUT you can still have the phone actively paired via bluetooth while listening to internal music. It's easy to switch between modes, so if you do get a call, you can pick it up from your phone, switch to bluetooth mode and select call output to the NWS-623. Hope that helps bud. Hey Siddarth 👋 loading music onto the walkman is via pc drag and drop. You can load the folders there, however it's not that easy to switch between the folder or playlist you want. You have to hold down one of the buttons on the walkman and listen to the voice to know when you switched to folder play and such but its random and not great at selecting that. But if you keep it to just one folder or playlist then you'll be fine. Hope that helps 🙌 Keep being awesome, 1TT

Is it the voice that plays after pressing a button? If so, you won't be able to change it as it is made for that region. You'll just have to memorise the buttons and actions they do if that is the case :/ could be the start of a new language learning journey!

These are great for running exercise and outdoor use. Swimming all models reduce in sound quality as it seals itself but it's still very good and fits that it won't come out. Use the usb connector and the cable, open the folder, copy and paste your music files into that folder and your done
