Platinums snap where they hinge. Very awesome sound but cheap design where they lock together

I have the hyperx cloud 2. I use it for Xbox with the turtle beach audio adapter and it allows me to hear my voice. But when I use it on ps4 I can’t hear my voice. Not sure if there’s a way to fix that.

Nick are you talking about voice monitoring where you hear your voice back in real time? I don't think there is an option for that with a wired setup like the cloud 2 or Alpha, but I know there is a mic monitoring button on the Sony Platinums

Hows the comfort on the platinums?

It's nice! For me after a long time playing I start to feel a little pressure on the top of the headband but taking a break and putting them back on after a few minutes alleviates the pressure

TARS The ear cups on the platinum are very comfortable. If I had to be picky about comfort, the one specific area I feel some pressure after long long periods of playing time is on the top crown of my head where the headband rests. After some quick adjusting it goes away for me.

Both sound great on Warzone. On the PS4 I would maybe give the edge slightly more to the Platinums just because it seems I can hear and pinpoint enemy positions a little more accurately, but the HyperX positioning is still good!

How's The Platinum Headset with movies? If I buy it, I plan on using it with my Note 9 to watch movies and stuff I have HyperX Cloud II so I am thinking of exchanging it with platinum because the mic is uncomfortable and the wire thing is annoying and it sounds weird with movies, not as immersive Also, BASS is an important thing for me

The Platinum Headset sound great. Keep in mind that it uses a USB adapter to go wireless and not a Bluetooth connection like other wireless headsets so it won't work wirelessly on a mobile device like the Note 9. However, in wired configuration it still sounds great.
