Hey mate, thanks for this useful video. I have the Sony HT-S700RF and it’s one of the best surround sound home theatres I’ve experienced. The bass, the surround sound, the dialogues, all work very well. It doesn’t have Dolby Atmos, which may be the only missing feature in an otherwise amazing package. There are some downsides as well such as the all-wire connections, which can create a hassle managing them around your room. These are not really meant for bedrooms due to the tower speakers so they’re best used for the living/theatre room. Another issue is that these have a front-firing subwoofer unlike JBL that have a down-firing sub. This can create an issue if you want to place the subwoofer a little further away from the TV as the bass isn’t felt that much if you’re not sitting in front of the subwoofer. I guess this home theatre needs an upgrade to Dolby Atmos and DTS-X with support for wide angle and up-firing speakers along with support for eArc and HDMI Passthrough in the next version so that it can be more modern. Btw, the Bluetooth version is 4.2 and not 1.3. 1.3 is almost non-existent these days. Thanks for the info!

Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes wires are really a pain. And Sony will charge more than 80K to give you atmos support. So don't expect eARC in this price range. But yes this bar needs an upgrade obviously 😊

Why this? And also plz try to play music only via HDMI as this will give you best possible output. If you are unable to use it via hdmi then plz don't waste your money.

If you will play music via Bluetooth then why you are investing that much money for a dolby sound system. Over BT will not be able to get that effect. You can choose F&D 5.1 home theatre. It is around 4500 and sound is great.

That is also very good option. But you would not get a good sound over BT. You have to use HDMI

Brother at today's time which is better sony ht s500rf or newly launched zeb juke baar 9900 Because sony product is way more older and zeb 9900 has all new features like Dolby Atmos and newly launched

Ht 500rf n zeb 9900 two different products with different features. But company wise Sony is better with great bass. If you want Dolby atmos then go for a good brand like LG Samsung JBL etc plz. Then you will get real atmos

It us very difficult to provide solution without checking your tv. Every tv has it's separate setting. It is a tv problem not pendrive. Try plying another movie

1 question, i too brought s40r. But when watching atoms movies, it shows as dolby atmos But how its possible ? Bcoz sony says dolby digital only But i checked, some movies showed atmos and it disllayed on tv screen. Also digital plus So since its not atmos enabled siunbar, it should not show atmos at all

For me, bookshelf speakers are better. Because they are handy n you can place them as per your convenience to get the immersive sound. But Tallboys are fms for looks n they are loud. But in terms of a good 5.1 sound bookshelfs are best

@@rajeshprataparao1763 Actually the tall boy speaker available in Sony S 700 starts creating problems after a few months, like it does not produce proper sound, or the sound starts cracking, but in Sony S 500, there is no such problem like this...
