It was nice to have Sam and Clarke on today. I hope to see more old faces show up from time to time, especially Sinead de Vries, if that's possible. As far as Sony scrapping the SSU, at least for the time being, I don't think it's surprising. Doing a Spider-Man universe without Spider-Man probably wasn't the best idea with these movies being the way they are. I haven't seen the Spiderverse ones, but I know everyone loves them, which is why it's confusing to me how they're able to get those right, but can't figure out the live-action stuff. Also, Clarke isn't the only one who's noticed the lack of marketing for Kraven lately. I've noticed it too. It's weird. I'm still planning on seeing it, though. As for 28 Years Later, it looks really good, but I'm curious how the zombie apocalypse is still happening. From what I remember, those two kids in the 2nd film had the cure in their blood, so what the hell happened with that? I also want to know if the zombie virus ended up spreading to the rest of the world or if it's still contained in the UK. I don't remember the Paris thing Sam was talking about, but it's been a long time since I've seen the movie. And I still haven't seen the first Happy Gilmore, so I better get on that before the 2nd one comes out.

They used my local Stop & Shop to shoot scenes for happy Gilmore 2. I also know someone who worked as an extra on the film and the impression I had from what I saw and what I heard is that Sandler seems to be doing a lot of the directing himself.

I think Joker was really grounded and spot on and didn’t need a sequel but oh well. As far as Sony goes, if movies are not a hit than why keep going. I’m all for the Spiderverse movies and maybe stick with animation but who knows.

I just went and saw Kraven The Hunter and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I know that it's not saying much but it's possibly my favourite of the Sony Marvel films. It's a shame because this is the direction I think they should have gone with this universe.

I loved seeing Clarke again, too bad we can't replace Rocha with her on Monday. As far as news goes I dont care for Happy Gilmore 2. However, 28 Years Later is a different story. I have been waiting for this sequel for a decade, and can't wait to finally see it. Sonyverse news is not shocking, just hope they finish off Beyond The Spider-Verse animated movie and not pull off a Zaslav effect.

It always came down to when SpiderMan appeared in Sony's universe. In Venom 2, they teased a Venom vs. Spiderman but Sony opted out I guess. In Morbius, Vulture tries to team up with Morbius because of Spiderman and the Multiverse but that movie flopped. In Madame Web, Peter was born but again, the movie flopped. Sony knows the successful ingredient is Spiderman but they obviously didn't want to do it or at least they couldn't because of their deal with Marvel My guess is the 4th MCU Spiderman movie could be a sendoff to Sony's universe like how Deadpool & Wolverine was a sendoff to Fox. Grab all the villains portrayed thus far and put them up against Tom Holland

I’m hoping it’s eventually announced that the “Jeremy Allen White is voicing Jabba’s son” thing is a joke. I’m fine with him being involved in that Mando and Grogu movie but him voicing a Hutt is too absurd to fathom. I don’t watch animation so I have no idea if Hutt’s speak “basic” in those cartoons, but for the Love of God can they not do this in the movies?

I don’t understand why Sony has never made live action movies about ALL OF THE SPIDER CHARACTERS they own. Those are the characters we care about. How about you make a Blade Runner-esque Spider-Man 2099 movie? Where’s the stylish black and white Spider-Man Noir movie? The 1980’s London set Spider-Punk movie? Spider-Gwen, Jessica Drew Spider-Woman, live-action Miles Morales, literally ANYTHING other than the stupid villain movies they’ve been doing.

I really do think it's time for Sony to throw in the towel their universe isn't working and I hope beyond the spider-verse is great where's the news about that movie we haven't heard jack shit about that movie I really don't know about Spider-man noir that show seems to be a mistake and no one asked for that to be a series as for Kraven it's going to be speared by Moana 2 and Wicked also Sonic 3. At what point does Kevin Feige say enough is enough we want all these characters back with us Sony doesn't get it and they don't listen to fans it doesn't make any sense for Sony to continue to make these terrible live action movies that continue to dance around Spider-man. I think it's going to open to $6 million Sony needs to give the rights back to Marvel and Marvel needs to keep these characters locked so that Sony can't touch any of these characters ever I hope that Marvel gets the rights to all the characters of Spider-man and make Sony run in the ground.

Out of the 5 comic book movies that have come out this year, only Deadpool and Wolverene can be descirpibed as good and was a success (Venom 3 didnt flop but box office way down from the other 2 movies). The Comic book movie bubble has truly burst. I think Captian America 4 will flop too. maybe Thunderbolts. It is really down to Superman , Fantastic 4 to save the genre. Otherwise, we will be back to just having spiderman, x men and batman movies,
