what a waste. this speaker has a wonderful sound and it looked like any problem with it could have been replaced with a new part. but now it truly is beyond repair because of this video

I know this is a old video but i would like to know if you happen to find a solution to about this specific model..A way to reset the charge cycle counter on the circuit board..the underneath circuit board. Sony claims there is no such things and their part reseler claims..from sony. That the battery can not be replaced and the whole speaker need to be changed.. I changed my battries with brand new 8650 cells 2800 mah from Sony..and still they wont fully charge..if i charge them externaly. The issue is resolved..

I have ordered a new battery for this model from Amazon. It came from China but i need the right screwdriver to change it.

Its a hex screw. You should be able to still open it with a allen key

I have tried plugingnin the speaker without a battery to attempt resetong the charge to 0..yet it does not appear to make much of a difference.
