What is the unexpected here? Also the music sample doesn't give much info, you should at least say, what volume level and which EQ setting you are playing. For a good review you should play different volume levels and also show the different EQ presets.

@djjackata8756, both the speakers are played on full volume. I don’t use any presets, and the Sony’s XG300’s performed unexpectedly better then it’s XE series. Hope that answers your question.😊

@@Mega1A1 thx for the answer. i have an xg300 here, and I think it does sound not perfect at 100%, much better (cleaner) at 90-95% (or below of course). But at least at hight volume the default settings is ok, at lower volume its not well balanced (too much bass, not enough highs) so then I use live or custom mode, or at least mega bass off.

Yeah you are right, but let me share a secret with you. Some times it’s not the speaker or the music, it’s the source you are playing. You pick up one song, play it from iTunes, then play it from Spotify and then play the same music from Tidal. You will know what I mean 😉
