1. why are gluing the plastic part? You cant ever reopen to clean it ever again! Also, 2. Does the smalll piezo tweeter really add anything to the music?

1. The glue is weak (paper glue), can be opened again. 2. Only at very high frequencies.

@@VintageChannel Thanks. I actually find the Pioneer XR 700, the older sony models with the DOME tweeter to be of better quality? This looks a bit simple to me. I also own the RX model, wish you were here to help me clean it up like new!.

Here in Brazil there is no RX line, there is the Sony GRX line. What is your country? I don't know the Pioneer XR-700, it must be good.

@@VintageChannel Canada. the GRX and RX line are basically all the same. I dont know why they named it different. the RX110 in Canada is rated at 290 watt RMS and the rest of world 250 watt RMS I dont know why.
