I was an Xbox fanboy until the PS5. I never engaged in mocking PS or it’s exclusives but I always thought I’d stick to Xbox and never get a PS (unless someday I’d have both). The PS5 was great at first when I was swimming in exclusives I couldn’t play before including PS4 games but now that the early high I had is over I know that each side is kind of bad as no matter what as a human being I’ll always crave what I don’t have. Honestly getting rid of each console getting exclusive games is probably the best thing to do especially if you’re bringing them to PC. After everyone moves there they might not want to switch back to console and they’ll just keep upgrading their computers until console exclusives are worth it again. The exclusive things consoles should have are features like PS’s touch pad, mic, motion controls, and rechargeable batteries. With this the competition will make the console experience better instead of simply incentivizing both of them to make sure they have a big well known franchise on their console which would help those games get the time in the oven they need, their remakes would be more scarce saved for games that need them instead of games that could get the most attention from newcomers, new smaller triple A titles can be focused on more, and it would better the online experience with more players and longer life spans. It could also make the subscription services compete. Imagine having the option to use either PS Plus or Xbox Live/GamePass on the same console. It would mean that for the guys at the top the best way to make more money would be to better the user experience on all fronts. That sounds like it would make it harder for them to make a profit but if they keep moving everything to PC it’ll probably end up worse for them as PC players don’t pay for online and they use different online stores that still have exclusives because of keyboards and still put a lot of games on sale. They are also better for piracy and have emulation.

I love it, when they say the switch sucks and no exclusives. Hell ps5 have what half dozen, not counting the PS4 remasters of remakes, only reason I have a ps5 is cause bought it for 300. With ff16 and ratchet and clank. And people say don't have time play long games. Hell ps5 seem like 20 min cut scene, 10 min gameplay.
