It is quite surprising to find this video in youtube. However, it is not an easy task for me to separate the screen with the case. Besides, after watching the video, it explained to me that the USB is onboard, and so, even assuming that I could open the case, it seems that the problem of my Tap 11 could not be resolved. In any event, I love the video.

Awesome!! Do you know if the keyboard battery is replaceable? And is there an extended battery pack for the Tap 11? The battery time for the standard pack is horrendous!

My screen cracked when I tryed to do this. I took all the screws out and got half way around the case and then it cracked.

I love this device, but the fan is WAY to aggressive. Cpu is hardly over 55C and it's already ramping up.I would like to put a resistor inline with that fan cable to reduce the fan speed, since we're not getting a BIOS update any time soon...

My Tap 11 switches on when the charging cable is attached, but as soon as I unplug it it shuts down. Also the orange battery charge light keeps blinking when plugged in. What do you think the problem is?

Keyboard is very hard to take apart and replace the battery. The keyboard assembly I assume is much cheaper than the battery.

+moreuse Yes, these are pretty tough. The screen comes together with the frame assembly as it is "glued" in the frame. Hard to separate them without the correct tools.

I want to try to open it to see the fan because sometimes it makes noise, but Im afraid when I assembly all the part again, Im afraid the screen will not pop and if that happen, Im gonna die T_T
