not bad - but do you really need all the steps in between? I thought Movie studio would "animate" the steps in between two time line events automatically (increase or decrease in linear fashion)

+Realraven2000 this is the only way ive found out how to do it and doing this way i believe you need to do all the steps.

I have done some editing yesterday (Movie Studio Platinum 13) and it makes smooth transitions if you have just 2 points. The only big problem I have is that I need to copy the last one to [the beginning of] all following clips (_and_ must remember to switch off "maintain aspect ratio") when I have a lot of edits / cuts, until I can find a point where I can insert the "default" back. For returning to default, you simply copy the current event to the start of the clip (zoom level or whatever you call it), go forward a couple of frames and the enter "default" again and you get a nice smooth transition back to full screen. I wish there was an easier way to copy the last event to multiple frames.

Is there a way I can change the "theme" of the interface to get that lighter grey color? i don't see anything in the manual, for me, the Dark Theme is depressing.

It is Sony movie studio Platinum it's not really Sony Vegas two completely different programs but they're reskin the same one is supposed to be for professional use which is Sony Vegas and the other one which is movie studio Platinum is supposed to be for an entry level amateur type video editing not really supposed to be used there is a lot of stuff on movie studio Platinum that is not there that is there in Sony Vegas for instance you cannot render like 4K footage and some other things as well you also can't blur images in movies to the Platinum where in Sony Vegas you can

Thanks for this. As Realraven2000 said below, you don't need to do multiple zoom points - just set a start point (first key frame) then on the timeline go to where you want it fully zoomed in and set your zoom there. Movie Studio will then automatically zoom in between the two points. However, if you want it to look less "digital" or "linear" then you can do it as shown in the video, as each variation will make the zoom-in less automated looking. Hope that makes sense.

Yes that is why i did it i showed both points in the video.

Not really; you showed "instant zoom" and a multiple key-frame zoom-in (and out), but I was talking about a 2-key frame auto zoom-in, rather than having to use multiple key frames. Thanks for the reply though. :)
