Before trying this, the plugins actually came up in Sony Vegas but I clicked ''add'' and nothing happened. Now after doing this I click ''add'' and an ''unregistered'' tab pops up, but when I click ok it disappears. At least I made progress. I guess this is the plugin packs problem and not Preset Manager's problem. Thanks a ton this is the only useful explanation out there. It shouldn't have been so bad to find this,

Its juss that all the audio and video FX doesnt show up anymore, i tried looking for them but it just wont show up, idk if its fom a windows update or something because before it was normal, im not sure how all the FX disappeared, even the Project video properties wont open, it just closes :(

So did the same process as you said, I'm running Vegas Pro 20, Did all the registry deletion and creation with all the sonic foundry stuff but the presets are still not loading up.(They are transition presets) (PS:- I have RedGiant, Boris Sapphire, Looks Builder, Universe, Twixtor and almost all sorts of plugins that are all working). Oh, and the transition presets are loading up in the Filter Packages of the Video FX tab rather than the transition tab.

Followed every step, but the plugins that I copied to the system in Preset Manager 1.0 are unregistered. EDIT: I solved this, the reason this may happen to you is that you do not own Sapphire, RSBM, or any other plugin that the creator of the plugins has used to make the effect. For some of you still facing issues with the presets, please try running preset manager as an administrator. And make sure it is Preset Manager 1.0, not 2.0

When I try to open the Plug-in Manager Sony Vegas keeps crashing before I can see any Plug-ins. (It's a problem I've had before I tried this though) But aren't the plug-ins still supposed to show up in video FX so you can drag them into videos? if they are, they still won't show up in Sony Vegas. i have a problem plz help, i have different external presets in filter package folder eg. transitions and lut but if i add lut from filter package on a clip, so the transition or what so ever on same clip i added before delete automatically. what is this ?? plz help i can only use one thing from filter package at a time on one clip. ***** Thanks. Have you tried any other packs out? It's interesting that one of the effects works but not the others, I wonder if any of my other packs would work. I plan on emailing sony to ask if they can update their preset manager as I suspect that is the reason for the installation issues, that is all tech support could think would be causing it when I was emailing them back and forth.

hey i’m sorry it’s been awhile since i’ve played around with this software but my best advice is to do an uninstall of sony vegas and a fresh reinstall. make sure you’re doing all of this from an administrator account as well

For pro 11+ you will have to use 1.0, actually I recommend 1.0 for everyone since it works with all packs and versions.

If it doesn't work it's most likely because you have preset manager 2.0 To fix this all you need to do is to name the folder created at 3:04 "Preset Manager 2.0".
