*PLEASE HELP* I tried to make a stereoscopic 3D clip from two separate video files shot from two separate mobile phones (both Poco X3). Both video files are of same frame rate and bitrate, though the length of the clips varies by some seconds. I started a new stereoscopic project(HALF SBS) in vegas pro (v19) , imported the two files into the project. Then added them into the timeline. After matching the audiograph, trimmed away the clips at both ends (start & end), to make them of equal length. After that I deleted onr of the audio tracks. Then, I selected the two video tracks, right clciked, and selected "pair as stereoscopic subclip". THE RESULTING VIDEO IS A CLIP CONSISTING OF A "STEREOSCOPIC CLIP" WITH THE 'ORIGINAL_LEFT_VIDEO' ON BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT HALF!!! why is this happening??? tried many different settings, nothing works. The resulting video is having left clip on both left and right side of the stereoscopic video. any help would be much appreciated!!!!

I have platinum 13 and I cannot get the stereo 3d to work. I have a side by side 3d video file. No matter how I add it, or what setting I use, it will not transform it into 3D video. It exports out the same with nothing changed. What steps am I missing?

The purpose of the side by side setting is to convert two video streams to that format, not for a video that is already in the side by side format. If you have a 3d camcorder that outputs two video streams, then it would convert that or video from two camcorders set up to shoot in 3d, to the side by side format. I use my 3d camcorder video and convert it to interlaced for viewing on my passive 3dTV.

I nhave 3D footage from Panasonic camcorder with 3D attachment lens giving me files which contain 2 pictures for left and right eye in one frame. I can not get 3D image containg both eyes view. I can not see any stereoscopic effect only 2 or 4 or 8 images in every single frame. Imppossible to do any stereoscoping editing , export, use!

Which version of sony vegas is this? just standard or pro? and is it capable to output side by side footage ?

Standard, and as far as I'm aware it can also output side-by-side. It's Vegas movie studio hd platinum 11 which is a bit outdated but I have it and it works fine

that's just the way it works. to fix add the "saturation adjust" effect and drag the lows all the way up

Why bother with 2 separate cameras when thera are , ready to use 3D attachment lenses which give you 1 single video file with images for both left and rigtht eye? And the most important thing - in your tutorial you admitted that you have no 3D Blue ray recorder and could not see how your edited 3D movie looks? So may be all is wrong? You also omitted the fact that the video shown in anaglyph mode has quite non-saturated colors - and what be in edited movie? And it will be OK both 3DTV-sets with polarizing glasses or on other with shutter-type glasses? Please update the tutorial to explain the issues and show solutions and ready to see reesults.
