SONY VGN FZ FZ340E take apart video, disassemble, how to open disassembly

Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your SONY VGN FZ340E laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.

I guess it is on motherboard and if it is broken then it all depend on your knowledge of soldering etc. Or it can be just a switch on palmrest or case bottom, don't remember where it is on this model. Do you really use this switch? :)

It's not that I use it (it's on all the time), but the slightest bump, shove, hand rest on key board will cause the contacts to break and I lose the wireless connection. So it's a hassle and terribly inconvenient when in the middle of working online. I'm a nursing student, so it's rather important for me. It looked to me, that one can't get at it until the mother board is out. And I think that's way beyond my ability. I'm not bad with tools, but that looked like a bit much for a novice.

wifi socket? or switch that turns wifi manually off?

My Wireless/Lan slider switch is going bad, contacts wearing out I think. Replaceable at home? I watched the video and it looks like the mother board has to come out to fix? If I could just jumper the contacts and leave it on all the time would be good enough. Thoughts? Thanks, R
