I have a tape stuck in a SLV-975HF that I want to preserve. How can you manually make the mechanism retract? Is there a gear I can turn by hand that will make the whole mechanism work?

In the downside of the front part (behind the frond visual panel), is a gear of screw form that moves the general mechanism, try moving that

I own 3 Sony SLV-975HF VCR's, I wore one out because I use the shit out of it, it's a great VCR, I may end up buying another one.
