How do I control the speed

Hi, I have this same model, and managed to fix it, but it doesn't auto stop when rewinding or fast forwarding, but it does whn reaches the end of the tape normally Is this normal? Or I screwed it up?
@InsideOutElectronics3 жыл бұрын
There is little lever in there I think it suppose to be responsible for auto stop. Check it is is moving during playback / rewind

Hi there, I wanted to say thankyou for the great instructional video, very helpful. I have now replaced my belt. The cassette tape now plays. The only problem is the speed of the tape. It sounds like 2x faster. Would you know how to adjust the speed or explain which tool I need to adjust the speed? I think it’s near the batteries, if I’m correct. Thanks
@InsideOutElectronics29 күн бұрын
@@Joshuuwaah Im happy it was useful! Have you tried adjusting the speed with a little potentiometer?
@Joshuuwaah29 күн бұрын
@@InsideOutElectronics TBH I have no idea what type of tool is. I have tried to research it, but still unsure what exactly the tool is. The area RV601 doesn’t have a screw or object to adjust, just a hole 🤔
@InsideOutElectronics29 күн бұрын
@@Joshuuwaah Just use tiny philips screwdriver to tweak it !

Maybe an odd question but, if I salvage one of these four wire motors, what kind of power source do I need to power it? I like to repurpose small motors for hobby projects.
@InsideOutElectronics Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! 4 wire motors usually are brusheless DC motors, and require a specific driver/controller to drive them, these are similar to quadcopter BLDC, for example

@@InsideOutElectronics thank you, any mechanical issue so far?
@InsideOutElectronics3 жыл бұрын
@@alienprotein69 It is very simple mechanically and electronics seems to be well done. Also it is easily serviceable. I would rank it as robust design, FM works well as well.
