@@azad9294 The Xperia 1 V(5) is quite good. I'm looking forward to the VI(6) for this year but first they have to release the version that's fully compatible with the U.S carriers. If you don't live in the U.S then you should get a VI. If that is too pricey or you do live in the U.S, then get a V. They're such good phones.

As an audio engineer, I can safely say the microphone quality of the mk.3 is far superior then the mk.4. Then again, considering that both phones still have a headphone jack, connecting a Rhode or Sennheiser mic to them would be easy.

on the 1m3, the screen would get a greenish tint when 120hz was toggled on -- especially noticeable in dark theme. does the 1m4 have this same defect?

Only some of the displays were extra green, the good ones like mine only get more green on lower brightness

Great comparison as always 👍 But I'll go for the mark IV, better speaker sound, better Pro apps, much better zoom, brighter screen. Thats despite its more expensive. Switched from mark II to mark IV, and can easily live with the overheating issue, that I don't find a mayor issue. But again great phones, that I can recommend any day, Its a Sony ♥️

@@maheshmurali2697 The Mark II is a great phone. Solid, fast and with all the nice features, can't think of any specific cons but a bit older than Mark III and IV.

I also have Xperia 1IV since the 14 of june and use the camera alot this summer and did also videorecording in 4 k 30 fps longer seksjon about 12-15 minutes and never experience any overheating isues at all just got warning in the camera app the and it was about 27 degrees celsius outside so not all units have that problem and when recording longer 4 k videos outside i always turn of GPS and 5 g and all other unessasary funtion that can produce heat and drains the battery . And I also dont like to be distirb when recording videos or taking pictures so you can avoid all this .

@@monttek You could do that that the Xperia 1 IV is a excellent device i havnt had any problems with it dueing the last seven month but it may be good to wait abit course the new Xperia 1 V is just around the corner and it comes with newly anounce SD 8 gen 2 ( snapdragon ) it is maybe a better choice but if you consider to buy the 1 IV then you should chexk the price for to get it as cheap as possible here in norway i have seen it for under 900 euros the 5 IV is ifen cheaper and also a good choice anyway it is up to you .

My 1 III doesn't overheat. As shown in the video. The 888 might be a weaker architecture at 5 NM. But it's the final version of it's series. Comparatively, the 4 NM Gen 1 is still a WIP .

The III has better mics in the video comparison. Couldn't recommend upgrading to the IV with those overheating issues. Little embarrassing when at parties or festivities and you get everyone together for a picture and your phone won't open the app anymore because it's too hot ♨️ I understand it's a made up scenario but the inability to capture moments has happened on my 1ii before in similar situations and it's not a particularly hot device.

yes absolutely, it's a huge issue. I'll have a 5 Mark IV review coming in a week or two where the overheating isn't as bad as the 1 IV, so hopefully that means Sony is improving this.

Magisk root after BL unlock and you can Undervolt the gpu with konabess and limit cpu mhz with kernel managers to tame the heat ;)

Does anybody know if the new Sony Xperia Gamer Gear that's released for the 1IV if it also works on the 1III since apart from their chipset since their dimensions are almost exactly the same?! Does anybody know if so please let me know! Im a heavy mobile legends player and sometimes the phone heats up after about 5 ranked matches this would help even more and seems more comfortable than the Memo DL05 phone cooler im currently using for extended gaming!
