This size is so refreshing. 5" is large enough even for gaming, and the compact size is just great to bring along for exercise and hikes. Lack of a headphone jack is a bummer, but I just attach the USB dongle to my only wired headphone and it's good when I'm not using BT headphone.

I really like the size of the device after a couple days of use. The fingerprint scanner is just in such an awkward place. Not sure where else they would have put it but it is just odd. Overall I really like the phone.

I have had mine for a over a month now and loving it. Longtime iphone user (SE most recently) and happily moved to android Oreo.

Yeah, it's been fine for me so far. I'd recommend putting a case on it for the long term, but the plastic doesn't feel cheap.

I prefer xz1c designwise! Still want to get it, it got cheaper now, what bothers me is 32gb (I have now 64 on my mobile and I don't like memory cards) and ...the camera. xz2c's cam is better, checked it in the shop. But I personally find xz1c's design way better!

The more I use the device the more I like the design of the XZ1 Compact as well. If only the fingerprint reader worked on the US version.

Was considering getting the xz2C replacing my S7. But i might take the xz1C. Smaller, lighter(!), headphone jack, and a better placed fingerprint sensor. 5 inch display aint compact at all.

@@jrich2955 I have the Sony Xperia z3v from Verizon and I didn't think that there was a phone that could be faster than that one but boy this phone is wicked fast I mean it does not lag at all everything so responsive and it's fast and it fits in the hand perfectly

Earlier they used to give High quality expensive earphone with phone. No Headphone jack. Now Sony phone are definitely not meant for music lover like me.

I think their concern is similar to every other manufacturer (less LG) that most people, arguably over 95% of people do not care ENOUGH to avoid a phone because of that. I can see the problem though. Good point.

I like the feel of the XZ1 Compact better. The XZ2 Compact is sort of chunky. Not bad just different. The screen size is a bonus. I haven't used a headphone jack in years so I don't mind not having it. So far so good.

Andrew Darling well I'm in doubt between the two, the xz1 is cheaper and has the jack which I use quite often, the xz2 is more powerful and has a better sbr.

And better speakers, and better camera and double the amount of storage, and better display. :) If the slightly bigger display and the lack of headphone jack are not deal breakers, XZ2 C is the obvious choice.

Just bought my XZ2 compact. Took the XZ1 compact back because I didn't like the feel in hand, and the screen I didn't care for. I like the XZ2 compact much better. Bigger screen and one hand use. Only downfall is the no headphone jack. The dual speakers on the XZ2 compact is much much better than the XZ1 compact speakers. So far, so good!!

Its a great device, however it gets quickly very hot on normal climate temperatures, it tends to slip of the hands , no appropriate casing from Sony ...Sony customer support failed to address the overheating problems despite repeated emails at my end .

Ankit yagami I got my on ebay used for 450.its great. Small but powerful and the camera is way better than my old xz1. Screen size is perfect 👌and battery life is very good. Happy 😊

No it's the US Version. On the XZ2 Compact it does work in the US. The XZ1 Compact's US version did not work.

the reason i mostly like to buy sony phones: they are overall good phones but overpriced but, their price drops by like 40% after 6-12 months, so, very good phones at good price :D right now, i'm looking to buy the xz2 compact at around 300-350 euros for my parents. Which I think its quite good
