Sold on Z2.. hands down the device for me since I like the fact that it is waterproof/resistance and dustproof.... the video and picture comparison between these 2 devices - clearly the Z2 took the cake.

I like the high saturation on the HTC pictures opposed to the washed out pics on the Z2 although the detail is lower on the HTC. No, I'm not a hater or a fanboy lol. The Z2 wins hands down on 4k but the HTC has a better secondary cam plus better audio, better build and better UI lol. No arguement there.

Superior auto constantly puts out relatively flat colours. But I assume it's like my Z1C and older Z, put it in manual at 8 or 13mp, set exposure to about +0.6, with iso between 200 and 600 and you'll get those warm colours of htc and samsung, but with great detail as well. Sony need to improve their superior auto colour saturation, but in manual if you know what to set it at, you can set it once and you'll be good for 90% of pics

I did exactly that on my last Z1 and the pictures came out really crisp on 8MP but I barely ever take pictures. I'd quicker consume media and that's where those speakers, crisp display and that 2.5V headphone jack will come in. I really didn't like Sony's bland UI so those are why I switched. Just an opinion.

Fair enough man, thought we were mainly talking about the camera. But you have decent points, everyone uses their phone differently and values certain things more than others. That's what I really love about the Android world - we fight among ourselves, but have a buttload of choice at the end of the day lol

thanks for this video , i got the z2 and i got no complains. the 2 reasons that i got the z2 over the htc one m8 were the camera and the waterproofnessation and it came with one more gb ram for futureproofnessation.

***** buttery is so good it last all day and still 40% charge left at 12 midnight , the speaker is good but not loud enough if there is too much noise around you then you may not hear the phone but the vibration helps a lot .

I'm an owner of htc one m7 but recently i got my phones wet and its getting boot looping.I was very satisfied by the phone all over except the camera.I'm considering to get my new phones as xperia z2 cause of its amazing camera and waterproof design.What do you guys think and plesase help me out with my htc one boot looping.Thanks

Right I either want to get a m8 or a nexus 5 the only thing that puts me off the m8 is the camera will it really be noticeable I won't be using it as a professional camera just for social media purposes so will it be very noticeable?

The M8 camera will suffice for social media purposes so if that's all you're going to use the M8 camera for then feel free to buy it

I got a 4s and I love it. It gets the job done one of my favourite things about it is it performs well in pretty much everything making it s great all rounder.

The only thing that holds me back from the Z2 is the mic, 5.2" screen/bezel (I find 4.8 to be optimal and 5.0 to be the max before it becomes too big) and the dimness of the screen I keep hearing about. So I'll just choose the HTC One M8 or the S5, right? Nope, the S5 doesn't have an FM radio, is slightly more expensive, has a crap mic and doesn't look or feel as premium. The M8's picture camera turns me off as well as the price and it's 600mAh down on the Sony. WHY CAN'T THESE DECISIONS BE EASY!

m8 wide angle front camera is better but otherwise i really tend to like the xperia z2. the m8 speakers are outstanding but it is quite heavy 160g.

I got 200minutes, 1000sms, and 1GB data only for $3/week. ok, the data is not 4G, but i get like 7.2Mbps(900KBps), not that bad for the price, right?

Irun Mon that's not bad. T-Mobile has a $30 plan, which includes 100 minutes, unlimited text, and 5GB of 4G speeds. After you go over 5GB, then they slow you down to 2G. I've used it on my Nexus 5 and got 4G LTE and never reached 5GB. I got over 20 Mbps download speeds and I was streaming KZbin in HD without buffer. Not sure why, but the reception with the iPhone 5S on T-Mobile was a lot worse than my Nexus 5. I thought it was an issue with the phone, but the phone is perfectly fine.
