Almost gimbal like for dynamic stabilization. Just to keep in mind for this mode we are not recommended to use the 180 shutter rule. We need to use faster shutter speed. Like 1/200 is good starting point.

You can't even fit your face in that dynamic active insane 30% crop 😆😆 also, all modes look jerky and horrible compared to my Panasonic G9 IBIS, this failure is insane. Not talking about the unusable single SD card slot and the 5-minute 4k60 overheating. 🤯 what were Sony thinking 🤯

It is a 28mm max lens though, so that's not quite ideal for "vlogging". But yeah, that crop and jerky footage. To be fair, Panasonic probably has the best IBIS in this category. Though where did you find that 5-min 4k 60p overheating? All the ones I found mentions 25 min. Hours for 4k 24p. Is that for in the sun recording?

@@nicoarcenas Dan Watson tested it outdoors under sunlight, 4k60 stops after only 5min, the 25min is what Sony has bren promoting to their group of reviewers but they tested it only in cold and cloudy weather.

@@nicoarcenas I don't want to go back from 4k60 I do everything in 4k60 since gh5 in 2017, why should I go back to pre-2016 era 4k30 😆

@@nicoarcenas Also all my recordings are on dual SD cards since GH5 in 2017, I am of course never going back to single SD card, I am not crazy! just last week one of my SD cards broke at a conference, my 4th SD card to break since 2006 (or whenever I switched from miniDV to SD cards), lucky for me I always record a backup. I don't know what Sony was thinking to release this camera.

Stabilization on my a7rv is flawless. Bet his results are better than the g9 if recorded it the exact same way.
