Definitely my opinion 👍🏻 I have the FX6 and now the small ZVE1 too and I love this small cam beast 😍

This is an excellent video. You really put the camera through its paces and its intended use: full-frame vlogging. Loved the shots you got. They looked CRISP.

In many ways this is an upgraded FX3, it has the same sensor and capabilities but also the AI chip from A7RV and a better internal mic which is not critical but a nice to have. Maybe use it as the A cam as the FX3 as the B cam :P - for the vlog like shots you want to pair it with a Viltrox 20mm f/2.8.

This camera definitely pairs really well with the Fx3! So any time you want to use two cameras for a shoot, the ZV-E1 is a great low-cost option when shooting with the Fx3 (or maybe even with the Fx6 or Fx9). I'd love to see some footage with the Viltrox 20mm. I will say though, when traveling it was very helpful to have a zoom lens. 😎 - Justin

Thanks for mentioning photography. I’m planning to use it equally for photography. Should I get it knowing it is only 12mp or save money and get the new ZV-e10ii 🤔 I would like to print out family photos as well.

Get a7c ii

Hi! When I was researching what camera to use for this video, I did look pretty closely at the a7C ii. It's definitely a stronger choice for photographers, given the high MP, but ultimately I found the ZV-E1 to be a better choice for video/filmmaking. Even though the a7C ii has similar file format options, it doesn't have the same video-centered elements that ZV-E1 offers. Plus, the a7C ii has some issues with rolling shutter where the image can look pretty distorted when moving the camera quickly or doing any sudden movements while recording video. That being said, definitely do a deep dive and see which one fits your needs best! As far as the ZV-E10 II goes, it doesn't have a full frame sensor so that's a strike for me (I personally like full frame sensors), but if that's not important to you then I'd be very interested to see how the ZV-E10 II performs within the content creator community against cameras like the ZV-E1. But personally, as someone who primarily uses the Fx3, I'll be sticking with the ZV-E1 as my sidekick camera! 😎 - Justin
