A new patch came out for MK1 and Sonya has become a REAL option as a kameo for Reptile! I personally enjoy playing Mavado the most but which kameo do you guys think is better? Let me know! Enjoy the video and subscribe!

I really like the new Sonya changes. Took a kameo no one uses and made her genuinely good. the overhead works well with Reptiles lows as well

I’m gonna say Mavado. He has more opportunities to negate pressure from one hit confirm. He also has the better comeback factor than Sonja. Not to mention the reduction of health is less than it was prior so more incentive to use him.

I would say that you call Sonya out much more often vs Movado, Bee I think you’re utilization of her is straight baller bro -I started playing again and trying that combo with her specifically because of you 😎

I try to use him sometimes he just doesn’t seem super optimal 😢 he looks sick with reptile and has some good stuff. I just wish they worked better together. But still cool nonetheless. I use him. Sonya and khameleon

Im on the Reptile vibe atm. I dunno the setups but force ball is so cracked, wish it anti aired properly tho

Movado but I mainly use Sub-Zero and Scorpion with Reptile and sometimes I’ll use Sektor.

That charged overhead is plus now. You can get a free poke into forward grab in the corner if they press after you do it. Also can get a full punish but only if they dont poke. Like if they tried to press with a High attack

From a viewer's standpoint, Movado. Every time I see you combo off of a sweep is just godly. Sonya has more tools beyond combo extension, what with her mixup, projectiles, and extra grab damage, but the swag of Movado beats out Sonya. It's also interesting to see when the mine gets busted out, or seeing you go invisible off of a grab. Also, Movado's design as a kameo just makes him feel like another character you're playing with, and not just a random assist. Dude is jumping in to kick the enemies back to you, or pounding them from above(pause). Visually that's far more appealing to me.

@@yhnbando5016 It's not just the Missile, the Teleport Punch is an amazing Zoning tool. It tracks the opponent anywhere on the screen and it goes through anti-Zoning tools like Peacemaker's Forcefield or Khameleon's Purple Glow, meaning that you got a Zoning tool that they still have to hold no matter what. And the cool down is really fast.

Out of these two it's defiantly Sonya. More versatile overall. Can help both with Zoning, combos, and mixups. Here are my top 5 Kameos for Reptile overall: Sektor, Scorpion, Motaro, Sonya and Khameleon.

Hey Honeybee, Mavado seems you have more combos start ups then what you get with Sonya but can play a more defensive game style with Sonya. I am a Smoke and Mavado fan at the moment and reckon Justnasty would be lethal with this combo if you can pass that on would be great

Janet is good but she doesn't really help Reptile at all in the neutral game and she got a few rounds of damage scaling so the big damage combos don't hit as hard as they once did. I like Mavado a lot more cause he provides more options imo
