The episode starts with Daya's dead body lying in a morgue and the entire CID team standing there in shock. The prime suspect in his murder is Abhijeet who also reaches there to see his dead partner. ACP Pradyuman stops him from going inside and arrests him on the spot for killing Abhijeet while he keeps on saying that he didn't murder him.
