Some idols who look at their face every single day for a prolonged period of time might develop a certain syndrome where you see yourself distorted in the mirror. This can cause you to go to a surgeon and demand to have something on your face drastically changed, e.g., a much pointier nose, although no one else sees an issue with it. (It's the same thing with anorexia.) It's just in your head. I think Sunny has depression or is at least very unhappy and has some mental issues/fatigue. And having her face changed certainly did not help lift any of that burden. I pity her a lot. She used to be such a sunshine, although I also remember the SNSD members describing her as being "very calm offstage, a completely different persona". All the cheerful ones (Onew, Leeteuk, Sunny, Sulli) are usually quite sad deep inside (same goes for some western actors).
