But what I realized is, Bollywood songs are mostly viewed by Central and North Indians, its our habbit that we don't appreciate, rather don't know there is a term called "music composition". We highly Praise a singer but aren't aware of Composers. Picture is far different in South India. There, the composers have huge fan following obviously because the people there are ardent music lovers (their good taste of music reflects it). Here we are giving crores of views to anything and calling it music. Due to this stupidity, we have lost abundance of good bollywood music right after 2011. No matter how much other parts of India love music, the appreciation that musicians get in South India is unmatchable. Coming to SEL, they are too much underrated. Very few people are aware of their magic right from those nostalgic tracks you mentioned. Bandish Bandits is their grand comeback but still limited to real music lovers 🤓 Many great composers are not given enough credits. Sad to feel that people are underestimating the healing powers of such a great art and giving it a form of disturbing sound pollution by remaking the old songs and calling it great music. Copies are celebrated and Originality and Efforts are being ignored.

It makes me cry when a talented actor like him does mindless commercial films like Happy New Year, Dilwale, Chennai Express, etc. He's too good an actor to be doing such kind of films. Since 2015, people expect GOOD CONTENT. The Star value has decreased a lot. Films that have good content are going to work (unless you're Salman Khan 🙂). I still believe he has lot to offer as an actor. He should stop doing films just for the sake of it. He should be very selective about his choices (Just like Aamir Khan does).
