hummm, that is not the criteria at all. We did not know SANAM group even though the group is there in existence for more than 10 years...recently came to listen to his song and we searched for more of his songs...we do not like all of his songs but there are 7-8 songs so far we love so much that we listen to those songs all day long and feel relaxed with the simplicity of singing, simplicity of videos, very effective editing and of course, with minimal instruments they have produced much better versions of already popular Bollywood movie songs. And reading comments on his songs videos, we get vibes that listeners appreciate SANAM's songs over original movie songs! So it is not necessary to KNOW someone to like his/her songs to be a fan of a certain groups. Thanks.

I don’t think any other Indian singer has impacted Indian youth more than KK sir. No disrespect to other singers. One of the finest singers in the Indian subcontinent but even amazing human being who raised an entire generation, taught them what true friendship is and was there to help us express our emotions. Fun Fact - KK didn’t just sing this song, that was the reality of his life that he didn’t consider Love to be distinct from friendship and they’re both connected to each other. He lived that. This quality can’t be achieved with merely a god gifted voice but also requires a gem of a personality which KK sir was. Him not receiving awards is more of our loss than his own it proves how less such people are valued even though. Come on, at least get him a posthumous award 🥺
