Inside of his book, adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. Hello! Believe me or not but I was the voice actor of Harold when the animated cartoon came out in 2001. All of the grunts, laughs and noises he makes was 100% me. It's so much fun to go back and re-watch these, especially with this new movie coming out. I am so glad there are still so many people that love the original! Makes me feel awesome knowing I was a part of so many people's childhood.

@@MrBrennanmoriarty When I was a kid I auditioned for the part, it was back in like, 1999. Then about a year later they called and said I got the part. I went in and they took about 45 minutes of me just making kid noises for the most part and they used that same voice stuff to make all of the episodes in the animated show in 2001. Just figured I'd post cause I saw the live action one coming out soon

Had an absolutely lovely afternoon with our youngest (as yet) grandkidlet. As a birthday treat we went to see "Harold and the Purple Crayon". She had a purple umbrella (been raining all day) and I wore a purple t-shirt and earrings. Absolutely lovely family movie! Highly recommend for kidlets under 12. If you are familiar with the "Harold and the Purple Crayon" books, you'll have a blast! Turned out, since it was raining so hard, she and I had the entire theater to ourselves!!!! Always thoroughly enjoy my one on one time with the grandkidlets. Wholesome, sweet, clever, entertaining family movies are few and far between, take your kids to see this!
