This drama has one of the most amazing moments of any drama I've ever watched. When Cha Yu-Ri is reborn. The music, the camera, you can watch it over and over and it's the same every time... amazing, just amazing. One of the best moments in all kdramas. Leaving behind painful holes that can never really be filled. Hi Bye Mama was a show that took you through that process of grief. Dealing with pain and loss. It showed you how precious life and love was. You were Cha Yuri. You were her mom and dad. Her sister. Her husband. Her friends. You were the mother of the daughter who committed suicide. The brother of the sister and parents who died in a car accident in front of your eyes. The daughter of the father who would never walk you down the aisle. You got all of this up close and in your face. You experienced it. What a gift to receive. Nature is indifferent to suffering but humans are not. Our real wealth isn't wealth but our ability to empathize with others. If we have that we can make it through any pandemic.
