In 1989, I was TAD to the USS Gary. They were doing a 90 day Persian Gulf patrol as part of their West PAC tour. The whole time the Gulf is like a lake, but in the fall the rough conditions arrived. The entire front of the ship or focsle, would go completely underwater. I was a Navy Stinger Missile Gunner, and our watch was above the bridge, we had the best seats in the house. I wish back then we had a smart phones to record it.

The Midnight Express had 3X 400 Mercs for sure... BUT the inboard or I/O Fourwynns has the same 3X400 trip outboard Merc configuration? Merc makin' invisible outboards now?

The Therapy IV is a one of a kind that was hand built in the original owner's backyard. A guy I only know as "Doc" built her, all 58 feet, if I recall correctly. She's all wood and surprisingly fast too. I was onboard a time when Capt. Stan hed her over 40 mph.
