During the bowl game, Jake Roberts “SHOULD NEVER” touch the field. BV needs to let Kaden Helms and Devon Mitchell rotate the entire game making sure both are targeted numerous times on passing routes since it won’t affect their redshirts. But we all know that BV is high on loyalty to upperclassmen but Roberts had his chances and if he’s not NFL caliber, that’s on him. Respect ✊🏼 Parker for the Nigel Smith situation. I wasn’t aware of all that was happening, but as long as Nigel is ok with it, that’s all that matters.

Bauer Sharp just didn't work out. He was overhyped over Summer (or he was a practice warrior) but the Offensive scheme was odd. He wasn't that fast, his hands were average, he couldn't block, he wasn't big. What am I missing? He is certainly replaceable. Mitchell could do equally as well!

Mitchell was a 5 star. He sat a year. He’s either developed enough to play or we need a new TE coach and it’s that damn simple. We do need the depth since we only have three but those three need to be able bodied and knowledgeable about the playbook. But we’re getting a new playbook, so…… whatever.

Brennan Thompson's production is easily replaceable. The OU Offensive scheme was so bad Jackson Arnold regressed and couldn't throw a 15 yd pass. We basically were an Academy offense (Navy or Army) with our QB a glorified RB.

I’m 51 years old and have been watching OU since the Marcus Dupre days. In all those years, the TE room has NEVER been this poor. Terrible recruiting, awful player evaluation, and non-existent development. The ONLY feather in his cap is Devon Mitchell, and he doesn’t even deserve credit for that because we all know Mitchell wouldn’t even be here if Michael Hawkins wasn’t here. This is on BV now…time for him to do what he needs to do and get rid of JJF.
