For me it was fitting quite well... because the scouts had an agenda and are grown up know.. its a cruel world out there and they know that. the actions they have taken spoke for them more than any speeches ore more. i found it satisfiying to see eren is not a dumbass anymore and can see and combine little pieces. things have to be done at this point and everybody knows that. on the other side - yes there is pain, suffering and so one. but again its a Cruel world that was the point of Episode 6 and 7 in the first Season. the Anime dont need to repeat himself it builds on top of that.

2:34 A reason i don't recommend sub, I've seen so many reactors not realize he's merely calling out the hypocrisy. Non Japanese speakers will never notice inflections or emphasis on specific words if you don't know the language.

Attack on Titan has been a passion of mine and the story is magnificent that's why i got into text RP bc The emotional sense and feeling like your in those moments. I just wish my Aot server would grow that way I had hundreds of people wanting to help tell a new side of the story. I even wanted to animate the rps.

Relax with these weird comments. Names can be pronounced in many ways, depending on language, accent. Le-vi or Lee-vay - it's irrelevant, you know what character they're talking about, there's not confusion.

I've left similar comments before. But they don't seem to care. When you clearly know the pronunciation of someone else's name but don't pronounce it correctly. It feels very disrespectful.

I love how attack on titan is really a story about the tragedy and cyclic nature of war. It's all about perspective and so many people suffer and die.

この話のとても上手いところはマーレ側の視点を描くことで単に善悪の二元論の話に終始しないところだ。上手くマーレ側も描き感情移入させることでパラディ島勢力も完全なる善ではないことを描いている。それぞれの陣営にそれぞれの正義がある。そこがリアルだ。

@@katelynngonzales1837 lol. I mean yeah. They DID call him Lee-Vy near the beginning though. I think it was midway through season 1 they mentioned that someone had told them how to pronounce it, but it didn't last for even the entire episode. lol Perhaps Le-Vee just sounds easier for them to say?? Like people who say the names as if they themselves were Japanese. Saying Ry-nuh in stead of Rein-er, lol. It's a pet peeve of mine, but it doesn't last longer than a few second, so I don't ALWAYS harp on it. One example of when I find it bothers me particularly is with people who say names wrong and don't CARE how the person themselves say their name. For example, I had a friend a few years ago who's name was of French descent. One day he told us that we were pronouncing his name incorrectly and said it with a French-ish pronunciation (he didn't even speak French but learned HOW to at least say his last name) but because his brother and his Father said it with an Americanized pronunciation everybody else ignored this friend and continued to say it "American style" I didn't though, I told everyone else that as the person WITH the name, he has every right to determine HOW he would like it to be pronounced. It IS HIS name after all. In my opinion, the least a person can do is TRY to be respectful enough to learn how to pronounce someone's name. As for this show the reason I let it go quickly is because in the end, these guys re just animation. They aren't real. lol. So while it bothers my ears when people pronounce names wrong, I just laugh it off.

But I highly doubt that the same people laughing at these girls for pronouncing Levi wrong, are correctly saying Magato or Faruko. And one could even argue that Levi isn't even correct since the Japanese don't pronounce the "L" the same way

All of Willy Tybur's plan gas come into fruition. He is baiting Eren into coming to Marley and showing that he is an aggressor. Willy didn't do this until they learned that founding titan is in the hands of a basically nobody and they don't know what eren will do with it. Eren just proved that Willy is correct on his assumptions.

Willy and MaGath weren't speaking LITERALLY in terms of calling Eldians devils and other terms. They were trying to make it "easier" to do what they were about to do. Also calling out the hypocrisy. But it's hard to catch in a non native language.

The episode starts in such a devious way, showing us Willy's kids, how they don't wanna leave their dad go to work, his last words to his family. Afterwards, on the carriage ride, we see exactly how meticulously everything was planned between Magath and Willy so it makes it even more difficult to decide who has the upper hand: Eren with his "surprise" attack or Marley with their contingency plan for all this. Willy's sister being the Warhammer Titan - talk about a plot twist! Mikasa with the insanely cool entrance, putting a dent in the Warhammer Titan! Meanwhile, the rest of our heroes joined the fray and it really looks like the Paradis Island forces got the upper hand in all this. You can already see the cracks in our team - Jean arguing with Floch, who is much less concerned about casualties looks very concerning. Floch behaves a lot like Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie did when they attacked Paradis Island, no regards for casualties or what happens to those around them. Seeing Gabi's rage - the cycle begins anew - Connie and Sasha in the roles of the "oppresors", the invading force, this time around. Eren figured out the Warhammer Titan was remote controlled so fast and Levi came in at the right time to save Eren from being eaten by Porco - the action accelerated so much in those last few minutes of the episode. The cliffhanger it ends on just makes you wanna watch the next episode asap. You made some excellent points during your post reaction talk, that's one of my favourite segments of each reaction! The sister is not a plot-twist. The brother said in a previous episode "you can't even tell which one of us is the Warhammer titan". So it's not a plot-twist, it's a "revelation" about a "mystery" but still, it's not important at all.

Marley tried playing the most stupid game and won the most stupid price of all. There are teams: Eldians on the island vs almost everyone else(minus literally one nation - Hizuru). Everyone else, including the only other people like them hated them. I don't know what anyone expected Paradis to do.
