I've got a question with all the kpop girl groups that I have seen most if not all have rumors of the members being gay weather it be black pink, (g)i-dle, mamaoo, loona, dreamcatcher, itzy, twice, ect. But I have read that if you live there in korea to be gay there is very taboo, why would they let thier pop stars engage in that way , if in thier culture they dont allow it? Some think its only to gain more fans or popularity but would love to know what you think?? I mean I've also read the companies put heavy rules on the groups like no drinking, smoking, driving, and dating among other rules

I mean Ive followed bands that had a gay member judas priest's rob halford is gay, great talented singer, anouther would be elton john great performer who is gay, queen's lead singer was bisexual. Its not wrong to be popular and gay and have a good career and if your gay or bi you shouldnt be afraid especially if you can use your position to help others in a positive way instead of all the negative and hateful stuff thats out there. But again thats just my thought

Although some of it may be for the audience to gain popularity, it's kind of expected 😂 i mean most fans can identify that the members aren't actually in a relationship, so I honestly don't see any harm. However I'm not saying that's the case for all people. I have heard of people who have taken offense to fanservice so I can totally see where you are coming from
