@@GillardSci Good question. The adult moths don't have mouths so they can't eat or drink. They naturally die quite soon after reproducing.

Normally im terrified of moths but silk moths are very majestic. it makes sense that their caccoon make one of the most expensive fabrics

I loved the video but wondered how many days this process took? I have seen some videos with a breakdown of timestamps in the description, like 0:01 intro… 0:45 eggs hatch…. 1:40 Day 15… Or maybe just mention the length of the whole process from hatch to adults laying eggs?

From hatching to cocoon takes approximately one month. The goal is to make a longer detailed video on the process later. I just wanted to share some eye candy because these guys are so neat.
