I remembered watching the Sooty and Co on ITV back in the 90's when I was very young. I really do enjoying watching the show and I do wished the whole series is finally released onto complete DVD collection at last.

6:32-6:36 Matthew does his Joe Gladwin impression (For those of you who don't know, Joe Gladwin used to play Fred Jackson in Coronation Street back in the 1960's. He then went on to be in the ITV sitcom Nearest and Dearest from the late sixties to the mid-seventies as Stan Hardman before going on to play Nora Batty's husband Wally in Last Of The Summer Wine from the mid-seventies to the late eighties. He also used to do the Hovis adverts ("Eeh, 'e was a great baker, our dad...")

They should have done a spin-off series from the dream sequence in this episode set in the mill in Victorian times called "Sooty and Co Present... The Mill". Matthew could play the manager of the mill like he does in this episode, Soo could be the mill's secretary and Sweep could be Matthew's apprentice. Sooty and Scampi could also work in the mill and Butch the dog could be a Bill Sykes/Artful Dodger-type pickpocket character.
