On the back of the foundations there should be a little makeup container thing and then it will say e.g. 12,6,16,24 and that's how many months you should keep it for x

But I think that if you store your makeup the right way it lasts even longer (of course you should smell it before if it's ok) but this dates usually expire faster than the actual product.

Amy Dean but actually most of the times you can use the foundations much longer than it says on the bottle! Normally you can see changes in texture or smell and then you should throw them away :)

I went and had my skin color tested it came up as porcelain. They tried a porcelain foundation on me and it was too dark.pale people problems. Love you soph x❤️

It’s interesting to hear which ones you liked since I’m looking for new things, it’s so long since I used much that it’s all at least two years old. They all have that little symbol on them with the number 6, 12, 18 or 24 (I’ve seen 30 on nail polish) to tell you how many months to keep them for. I’ve ignored it and have a few things from when I was 14, but foundation is probably meant to last for two years at most.

I use Lancome Teint Idole all year around, when im pale in the winter i just mix it with NYX white mixer, it doesn't mess with the formula. Works great! I recommend the NYX mixer, has worked so far with all my foundations very well :)

The little open jar image on the backs of makeup products have numbers in them and it shows you how long they last. I have the nyx stay matte but not flat foundation and it last 12 months so one year.

I only own 3 different foundations , dermacol, the revolution fast base stick , collection lasting perfection foundation but I mostly use the dermacol one as it is such good coverage. ❤️❤️❤️. When I buy foundation I place a sticker on one of the sides with the date I opened it , coz the 12M on the side of the bottle is how long your meant to keep them hence why I date when I open them

if you look on the back of your foundation, (or any makeup product) there is a tiny picture of a little pot and it will say 6M or like 12M (months) which lets you know how long it stays good for! ✨✨✨

For date of any makeup product, look at the back- you should find what looks like a opened face cream tub. It will say “6m” or 12m”- that’s how long it can be kept and used after opening! :)

Soph, the Benefit pore-fessional thing in the pink packaging is not a foundation, it goes under your foundation. I got this for Christmas and had no idea what is was so did some testing and basically, you put it where your pores are and pat it in with the sponge and it fills in your pores so that your foundation goes on smoother. It's really good and actually works amazingly!! Love you 😬💕

Love these decluttering videos but I think the body shop fresh nude foundation would be better for you if you got the shade Bora Bora because it’s more yellow toned but if it’s too dark you could always mix it with lightening drops because that’s what I do ♥️ Thought this might help you , love you xxxx

All cosmetic products have an image on the back, like a little tub/jar with 3m/6m/12m etc. Thats how many months the item lasts from when its OPEN. But if something seperates or smells of before that date it could been the way you were storing it made it go of quicker, like in the sun light or the lid wasnt shut properly

I love watching foundation declutter videos too! Just keep an eye on the smell and consistency of the foundation. If either of those starts to change, that generally means it's going bad and should be thrown out. I have foundations that I've had for over 3 years and they're all still ok since I store them in a cool dry place

As for foundation life span once opened they normally last 12-24 months they should all have a picture of a pot (looks like a face moisturiser pot) on the back of the bottle/tube with a number above it thats roughly how long it will last before going off (all makeup and skin care products have that pot on the back)

You can get the lancome foundation in 05 and 007. I have 007 and I'm a similar colouring to you but pink undertones rather than yellow so the 05 may match you better :)

Hi Soph on the bottom of ur foundation (or any make up/ cosmetics) there will be a symbol that looks kind of like an open jar, and it will have a number on it with an m next to it the m stands for months and this tells you how long to keep it for💕

On the packaging of the foundation bottles (and other makeup) there is a kind of cream pot with the lid open and most of the time it has the number 12 on it, which means that after you open it you can keep it up to 12 months and after that it is supposedly out of date! Hope this will help some of you✨♥️
