It’s so great watching Orin getting involved with cooking at a young age. One of the biggest gifts my parents gave me was the trust and freedom they allowed me in the kitchen, from an early age. I was a confident cook before age 10 and it really set me up for life. Your parenting skills are commendable. I’m really enjoying this series of videos!

I can't get over how big Orin is getting, he was just a little baby a minute ago. Time is just going by so fast 🙈. He's a brilliant stirrer and adding the flour to the bowl 👌🏾. So adorable 😊💜. random question but do you find using bags over pots better for the freezer ? never considered putting food in a freezer bag, is it more space saving?. also love this video. it really inspires you to be adventurous with meals when your limited on what you can eat because you only have the kitchen. x

I made banana bread this afternoon. I follow a recipe on BBC Good Food website for vegan banana bread. One bowl for everything and don't need eggs or butter. It uses sunflower oil instead

I've never cooked with tofu....I heard some people freeze and thaw it before cooking for a different texture and also I've heard of people pressing it so it can drain before they cook it. Have you ever done any of that? If you cook tofu again for one of these can you do it on the channel?

I occasionally press it! That helps firm it up - but I do recommend patting it in some flour before frying as that gives it a better texture. Yes I’ll film some more tofu recipes! ☺️

Hi, quick question. I mentioned when discussing it, that HF is a respite and we also only get it in replacement of any takeaways or eating out, it’s such a brilliant treat and much more affordable than eating out - we order it every other month so it’s a really rare treat for us! Our bi-monthly order had actually already been made before I started this challenge! But I do get your point, the video is more the meals we ate that week. X
