Jukka nailed it when he said to be merciful on yourself. We are so demanding on ourselves thinking that we should be doing something all the time. It's okay to just exist and take some time for yourself. This is an unprecedented time and we all just have to wait until it passes and try to remain safe and sane. As far as Sofia she's seriously such a sweet girl. She seems to chill and go with the flow . Teething isn't fun but she's still a happy baby and that's thanks to her parents. Good job Chachi and Jukka

I’ve been feeling that way too! Staying home is definitely something I enjoy doing but like you said... now that I’m forced to I just feel overwhelmed in a way? And anxious it’s frustrating. Even when quarantine is over its okay to just not do anything if you feel like not doing anything or dont have the motivation. Don't feel like it's okay now and won't be okay later. Every one needs a break no matter when that is. Especially parents! The easiest way to be the best mom possible is to be the best version of you possible. If that means nothing will get done and we'll eat take out 2 days in a row and wake up late the next day so you can recharge than so be it. Best chachi=best mommy.

I definitely know how you're feeling! Apart from doing things that keep me busy, hobbies, spending time with the kids and talking with family, I've started writing things down that stress me out, how I'm feeling and what I'm grateful for.. it's really helped me so far.. Feeling the exact same. I am a first time mom with a 2 month old and our social isolation has been extended by 3 weeks again after 3 weeks already. Im finding it hard that my baby doesnt get to spend time with our families, grandparents, aunts etc. Trying to look at positives though!

Do you know she's actually pretty unique? Brown eyes are dominant, which means that if Chachi had brown eyes and Jukka blue, the baby would normally have brown eyes. she has blue ones ! soo adorable and unique x

I understand how you’re feeling, I have felt more positive and better by still sticking to a routine like you started doing, still waking up at a decent time and getting ready for the day doing my hair etc n just staying active. Also being grateful for being in a nice home with my family and the blessing of technology to even communicate with others and see them, luxuries some don’t have, like people stuck in prison or something. I understand you, Chachi. Few days before my birthday I felt so broke and I don't know why. I've been like a week in quarantine before my birthday and I just felt like I want to break down and I did. I even feel sorry for my mom and sister who's very worried about me cause I tried to lock myself up in my room. I can't even talk to them properly, can't even look at them in the eye, I literally teared up whenever they ask me what's wrong cause I myself can't even answer that question. I feel like I'm going crazy that time, I would suddenly cry and then days passed I tried not to be so negative and kept myself busy with the things I can do. I had a heart to heart talk with my bestfriend and she comforted me, telling me I will be alright cause maybe I wasn't used to this kind of life, being at home without no one to talk to, well I mean I have my mom and my sister but its different. I was so negative but thankfully I was getting better day after day. Now I'm okay, I'm trying to get used to this now. I'm the type of person who's afraid of being alone, its like my biggest fear; like i'm trap inside a box, no one to talk to, no one to share, i just couldn't stand being alone.

We are on our 3rd week of state wide Quarantine in Memphis TN. I have not left my house since March 12th! I am not dealing with this good at all. I have chronic pain, anxiety and depression on top of my BPD(borderline personality disorder) . So this Quarantine has set everything off. I has cryed more this week than I have smiled or laughed. I have no joy left in me. And this might sound horrible but I am so F***ing sick of everyone on KZbin and on TV telling me to stay home. This feels like a punishment for me! It is like jail at home. Sorry I had to vent to you because I have no one to talk too. God bless you and your family.

It's okay to be in a funk, don't beat yourself up about it. You're taking good care of Sophia and that's all that matters right now, so please remember that it's okay to take some time to yourself and allow your brain to experience whatever emotions you're feeling that day, you are a human being with a human beings brain so it's okay to cry, it's okay to feel anger, it's okay to feel like running naked through the snow screaming "I'M A PURPLE SEAHORSE FROM MARS!" while Jukka and Sophia look on and yell "Godspeed, you wacky Texan treasure!". Let yourself feel emotions and work through them however you feel is the best for you, that's the healthiest way to deal with them, it's a strange time in the world but you're doing a great job, for real.
