My best guess is that there's no promotion whatsoever. I learnt about her by "accident", on the "diamon heart" alan walker song, someone suggested she might be the singer so I checked that out. But I agree, 30-40K views is just unreal.. 30-40M would be a start :))

And there's no such thing as too good for the mainstream.. A lot of alternative singers finally have success, way more alternative than Soso. I was a huge fan of System of a down about 12-15 years ago, and at that time it was considered alternative metal, nobody knew who they were, now Chop Suey has over 500M hits, that's 4 time more than the most famous Marlyn Manson one. Btw, music festivals are a good way to be known also ;)
