I have to be honest, I really prefer these smaller tasks. We all can do them in a day's time with all the other demands on us. The closet looks very nice. I also really like hearing how you make decisions on what to throw out/donate. You are my favorite KZbinr. And, I like your big hats. You look cute in them.

On the shoe rack, if you put the left shoe facing the back and right shoe facing the front you can sometimes fit 4 pairs of shoes on each shelf.

I need large brims too. I don't really tan, I just get red then peel. My mom has a garden hat, I think she bought it in the early 70s, that thing looks like it s been in an unfortunate encounter with a pack of wolves, but she loves it and still wears it too. A hat that fits well is hard to find.

@@mygreatchallenge I purchased two collapsible mesh laundry baskets from ikea long time ago, a blue for winter and a red for summer. I put all the hats and gloves there. Each family member will wear one or two hats constantly and keep it on top of dresser by the entrance - where we put stuff down as we come in. When that space becomes too crowded, I relocate extras into those baskets. They are in the coat closet by the entrance as well, not far away from the door. This way I keep clutter down but we still can rotate hats in Michigan climate

I should've known you'd have a pea coat! I watch Marie-Anne Lecoeur -The French Chic Expert and that's part of your standard issue wardrobe as a French lady! Was the navy coat you kept a trench coat? What’s a coat closet? Lol! We don’t have one here in Florida, we’ll some people do but we don’t in this house. In our previous house we had one in our entry way but I stored my vacuum & steam cleaner in there, no coats. 😬

Olds shoes can go to DSW and they recycle or repurpose them and you get points per pair donated. The points then accumulate into money off coupons.

You can’t beat a wide brimmed hat for keeping your eyes and face in the shade. I much prefer them to sunglasses ( although I wear those too sometimes and of course for driving).
