The Heisey Glass museum is in Newark, Ohio where I used to live. In Newark we pronounce it with a long I sound and a long E sound. Like we are saying Hi to a friend named Zee. Not saying that is correct just saying that is how it is pronounced there. When my Grandmother died my Grandfather, instead of asking his adult children if they wanted them, had a yard sale and sold all the Heisey dishes and glassware at a yard sale for 10 cents a piece. (Grandma died in 1969. I’m not sure when the yard sale was.) To him it was just his everyday dishes. Mom was heartbroken when she found out.
