Deeply troubled society here, that is so-far, incapable of appropriately responding to social ills, of a severe sort, where the mentally deranged have full freedom to massacre strangers and are doing so at a feverish pace now. and finally getting round to hearing this, only listened to it a few dozen times ... and my favourite song at the moment too, especially the radio 2 piano room version, that strings beginning with the bookmarking harp gives it that etherealness. pity it didn't chart in the UK, i would have known about it, since i check the chart listings every week! and perfect for the final song to my movie screenplay too (yes i am writing it proper after 30 years of humming and hawwing) so many layers i'm extracting from the song that makes it fit to the story of the ending, right down to who's singing it! (don't tell anyone but i think she's pretty good🍑) i'm even adding to the end for the fitting in to the story ... bare with me "And when the morning comes, will everything feel the same? The morning comes, will everyone be the same? When the morning comes ..." it gives it a finality, gives it an optimistic feel, and even FOREBODING! perhaps i'm ending on a slightly higher tone, as "comes" on the third line is a higher note than "same" from the first line. giving each a different sound. just a wee addendum, and not complete critique😇there are better people than me🤗 it also took me a little bravery to type this too! all that emotion you pored into this is beautiful, along with the rest of the album
