She's got a raspy voice that masks the fact that she's only 17 years old. I liked it. Not sure why some people said the song was done poorly. It's always easier to criticize someone else when you don't have to take responsibility for those criticisms.

I think the fact that she's so young works against her with a song like this. She sings the words and notes but never quite captures the melancholy of the piece.

She doesn't get a pass because of her age. Poor song choice for her weak voice. Moon River has so few words they should each have a voice to carry them. Unfortunately her voice does not do the song justice.

She has a great voice, but it’s not consistent. There are fall offs and drops at ends of phrases and notes that creates a rather lilting or disjointed feel to the song. She’s great but in a competition like this with so many talented singers, the finer points will get your eliminated.

It's like looking at fine porcelain pieces while listening to a soothing classical music. It is funny how she has brought back a period in life when life was simple, gentle , sweet & full of dreams and yet she looks like a complete original. Winning or not this girl will not be past over by the industry but she WILL influence the very life of millions of people. Funny how what she brings forth has the soothing qualities that put your own life in a more peaceful and tranquil place . I can not think of tragedy or ugliness while shes on she IS the calming secret of a generation with a much simpler, fruitful & happy life. The little keepsake you keep in a small velvet lined box that still holds the fragrance of absolute beauty. This girl can put all antidepressant & calming drug makers out of bussines. BTW Will.I.Am. has a lot more depth and vision that I gave him credit for . I must apologize. Now I understand why he has become SO iconic.

The original song of Moon River wasn't actually sung by Audrey Hepburn, sadly. Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini were the first to sing it in 1961.
