This one was amazing! Sophie! This was awesome! Look, I don't always agree with your songs. I didn't agree with everything in this one. (But you didn't write it to match some stranger's beliefs.) And in all cases, whether I like them or not, the quality, the skill God has given you, the skill you've worked on, expanded, improved over the years, is obvious. But this one was even better than I expected. Quality as usual, self-awareness as usual, and still, something just clicked. Sophie, this song will resonate with a whole lot of people, young and older. You're right about books and speeches, they help and they don't. Some of us are just this way, whether our life circumstances moulded us this way or not. Someone said 'if you're afraid, well then, do it afraid.' Likewise, if these negative overwhelming feelings aren't going away, we are going to just go on thriving despite them and alongside of them...and maybe someday we'll find them gone but that we have withstood and are still standing. Hi Sophie! 🥰 This is a great song and I love the lyrics. I think I've said before that I feel your music seems very cathartic for you. So many really great and memorable artists struggle with their inner demons and that comes out through their music and lyrics. I think that says about you that you are indeed human and most definitely a great and memorable artist! It's very natural sometimes to dwell on negative thoughts and feelings and often quite hard to see a way through them... you are definitely not alone in that respect. As you say in the song there is a lot more to you than the on-screen girl we see, and you are certainly not being a drama queen. Looking past the song Sophie I feel, and always have, that you are very gifted, you have a magical personality, and you clearly think and care deeply about life and those around you. I'm not sure what I can add ... You're beautiful, you're very talented and you always speak from the heart and bring a massive amount of empathy, comfort and joy to people out here. Stay amazing Sophie ... because believe me you truly are 💕 ⭐

Seasonal Affective Disorder wise, which I have (SAD, great acronym, ikr?). & many who live in the northern hemisphere feel the loss of the sun as well, diagnosis or not. All other mammals take it easy, while humans continue working hard against our nature. This was our darkest winter in something like 73 years (🇨🇦), so way to go @ everyone who gets the blues during the winter/cold seasons 💪🏽First day of Spring! &.. As a musician, I'm trying to focus on writing songs that express the emotions, thoughts & personal madness that I feel in hopes others can relate. Much less putting a positive spin on it. I must say, Sophie is a HUGE inspiration to me. So many cleverly written lyrics. Never stop, girl ❤! Overall artist, guitar playing, lyricist goals right here ✌🏽
