Both have completely unique and complex sonic pallettes that they created themselves using sound design, and it almost feels like both artists catalogues are their own little worlds. But the vibes are like polar opposites lol, SOPHIE's music sounds like the craziest party you'll ever go to, while autechres music sounds like you're listening to a science experiment or something. I love them both sm

For her live sets in venues like these she always used a standard 2 CDJ with a mixer setup along with her Monomachine plugged into the mixer. Generally all vocals would be played on the CDJs and sometimes nearly full tracks (Out of My Head in this set is all off the CDJs). But songs like Ponyboy in this set are sounds running off of the Monomachine in realtime (some of the clangs and screeches). She also uses the DJ mixer to lowpass/highpass sounds a few times during this set.
