8:22 I’m from where açaí berries are native to, and your pronunciation was pretty fine for a non Lusophone (8:33 “ah - sah - ee”, instead of the last way your bf did in 8:31 , but the times he said before were pretty nice too, almost as close to how good you were 😂). The word ain’t from Portuguese either, but instead a local native American language of northern places in my country that, unfortunately, aren’t country/ region wide official languages, but I mean you pronounce close enough to what a person would in here!! I don't think they were bed bugs btw; bed bugs are tinier, more of a reddish colour, and don't wander during day time on bed sheets, they stay in the mattress coutures. There was a lot of media frenzy and paranoia on that a few months ago following a girls tiktok video in a cinema theater but 98% of us Parisians have never encountered them. At this time of year (heat and humidity) we get more tiny creepy crawlers and mosquitos, and since we don't have air con, we open the windows during the day. That being said you're absolutely right to be cautious (I fell for that paranoia state myself), and if the floor and flat was dirty....better to be safe than sorry. Nice vlog ! dunno why it was recommended to me but nice vlog !
