Doc martens are one of my favorite winter boots. I've worn my doc martin Jadon boots for the last two years and i've enjoyed styling them with different outfits. Recently, I felt a need to get something a little bit more classic, since my style has changed a lot over the last two years ( don't get me wrong i am still loyal to my Jadon ) . Therefore, I decided to pick up the doc martens 1461 bex. The height of shoe sole is an in-between the classic 1461 and the platform 1461 which is a perfect style and fits my aesthetics. They're edgy, timeless and easy to style. But, as much as I love them, there are a few things to keep in mind before buying them.
So, in this video I am giving you all the important infos, Tipps and tricks and what to expect after you get them. Things I’ll be talking about are for example, how to break in the doc martens, how to prevent creasing and scratching, how to buy doc martens, how to style doc marten, doc martens sizing and many other things. i have the 1461 bex too, and i love the shoe. really hard to break in so you might want to use moisturiser for leather / beeswax for shoes on them, as it softens the shoe. it gave me blisters and really hurt my feet at the beginning, but super comfortable now. highly recommend and like the look that’s in between platform and classic 1461’s

Hey haha I have this ones but I used first time yesterday and omg I have blisters in my heels in both 🤣 I'm 37/2 buy the girl in the store reccomend one down . I think I made a mistake , this situation happend to you also? Thank you 😭😭😅😂

@@franchangehabits oh no ! that happened to me too. i got really bad blisters and for a while i thought i had the wrong size. i don’t know in your case but i assume the same thing is happening to you, i’m wearing them right now, i wear them everyday to school and they’re really comfortable. try persevering. you’ll break them in if they’re the right size

While ago I bought the Jadon platform, eye with zip in black. This week I had the "chance" to buy the low shoe plaatform 5 eye 8053 including the double socks and can say that the wear and leather is the same as the Jadon and the 8053 with the socks are a perfect fit. Don't have the feeling i get blisters or such.

I have the Jadon's and they are very heavy (can't walk long distances in them as it feels like you are dragging your feet. But they are beautiful.) I just ordered these so we shall see.

Hey, I am a true size 37 EU that’s equivalent to 6.5 US or 4.5 Uk. I would suggest to go with true size. At first they will be uncomfortable but after you break them in it should be alright. Hope that helps

I ordered a size women 8 for the 1461 bex oxfords, and I’m usually a size US 7.5-8 , would the 8 be too big for me? I feel like size 7 would be too small for me. Please let me know what your opinion is ☺️ thank you!

Hey, no if you’re size 7.5 - 8, then 8 should fit you just fine.

Omg im experiencing the same issue!! I measured and my feet are 10 inches and the 7 is like 9.8 and the 8 is 10.2 so I’ve been struggling to pick. I keep hearing that you can only change width, not length, so you’re better off with longer ones. I think I’ll just be doing that haha

saturate the leather with mink oil and they'll break in/be more comfortable on ur feet. also... i'm getting a pair of low tops after watching this lol
